Brandy Station Foundation will once again participate in this Wonderful, Fun, and Very, Very Easy Fundraiser!

Here is how this fundraiser works. We come up with a theme for the tree and decorate it according to the theme. Then we collect gifts for under the tree. What is under the tree really determines the amount of money [bids] for the tree at the Christmas Gala. We have been very fortunate the past two years with the businesses of Culpepper, Brandy Station and Fredericksburg stepping up with wonderful donations for under our tree.

If each volunteer or member could provide just one of the following, we would have a GREAT Tree for Gala Attendees to bid on. You can solicit the gift from a business or provide a gift personally.
What we need from you is the following:
Gift cards, and Gift baskets [theme filled with goodies]

Examples of Gift cards: Local restaurants, massage, manicure/pedicure, local shops, B&B stays, Wine Tasting,
Micto Brewery Tasting, coffee shop, bakery, FredNats tickets. Just a few ideas

Gift Baskets: Themes for the baskets might be wine, beer, teas, books, game night, gardening, coffee, desserts, movie night. Again just a few examples.

In the past all the businesses we asked for donations were very supportive and generous. Our goal is to request donations from the businesses before other organizations and schools start soliciting for their fundraising events. 

We have noticed that the Christmas trees with bottles of wine, liquor and microbrew beers tend to draw more attention and higher bids. We need these items by Wednesday August 27! If you have any questions or need Betty or Kim to meet you to pick up the items, please send either of us an email.

We are just asking each volunteer or member to provide one item. You can even team up if you want to, especially for the gift baskets.
